1. Data Controller
The controller of any personal data arising from your visit to the website technoliftvountzouklis.gr is “TECHNO-LIFT – ΒΟΥΝΤΖΟΥΚΛΗΣ Σ. & ΣΙΑ” (Voudzouklis S. & Co.), based at Dimitras 1, 68131 Alexandroupoli, Evros, Greece (hereinafter “we” or “Techno Lift”). We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 — GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019.
For any data protection matter you can contact us at: sar_vou@otenet.gr
2. What Data We Process
The website technoliftvountzouklis.gr is informational in nature: it presents our elevator installation, maintenance and renovation services, along with selected projects. It has no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no user accounts and no online payment system — so we do not actively collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or any other personal details through the website.
The contact details shown on the website (email, landline and mobile number, office address) are our own, which you may choose to use to reach us outside the website (e.g. by sending an email or calling). Any data you share with us this way (e.g. your name, phone number, the building’s address or details of your elevator) is subject to general data protection law and is used solely to answer your request, prepare a quote and carry out any work we agree on.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective customers (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Technical Infrastructure Data
To run and secure the website we use hosting and content delivery / protection providers (CDN & security layer). As part of their technical operation, these providers automatically process basic technical data of each request (such as IP address, browser type and time of request), as happens on every website on the internet, solely to deliver the page and to protect against malicious traffic.
The website’s fonts are hosted on our own servers. Some graphics are loaded from an external image delivery network; to display them, your browser connects directly to its servers, which necessarily receive your IP address and basic technical details of the request.
We do not use this data for profiling, advertising or identifying individual visitors. We do not run web analytics tools, advertising pixels or similar tracking technologies on the website.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Recipients & Processors
We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes. For the website’s technical operation we work with hosting and content delivery / security providers, who act as data processors on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. Where these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by approved safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent frameworks recognised by the European Commission).
The website also links to external services, such as Google Maps (for our office location) and the Google reviews page. These services open only if you tap the corresponding link and are governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Retention Period
Technical infrastructure data (e.g. security logs) is retained by our providers for the period set by their own policies, usually short-term and for security/troubleshooting purposes. Any messages you send us directly by email are kept for as long as needed to handle your request or our cooperation (e.g. for the duration of your elevator’s maintenance contract) or for as long as the law requires, and are deleted once no longer necessary.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you have provided us with personal data (e.g. by email or phone), you have the following rights:
- Access: to find out which of your data, if any, we process
- Rectification: to have inaccurate data corrected
- Erasure: to have your data deleted
- Restriction: to have the processing restricted
- Objection: to object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at: sar_vou@otenet.gr. We reply within one (1) month.
If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA): www.dpa.gr
8. Security
The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/SSL) and hosted on infrastructure that applies modern security measures. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any data you may provide to us.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy, in particular if new tools or features are added to the website (e.g. a contact form, analytics, online payments). The version in force is always published on this page with its last-updated date.
